Woodfin Sanitary Water & Sewer District implements voluntary water conservation measures. The Woodfin Sanitary Water & Sewer District has implemented voluntary water conservation measures for all service areas, effective November 13, 2023. Due to an abnormally dry fall, where rainfall levels have been well below normal for this year, water storage in the district’s reservoir is lower than optimal. While not yet at a severe stage, the lower levels of water stored warrants the implementation of prudent conservation measures until such time as rainfall levels return to normal. While in voluntary conservation mode, District customers are asked to limit non-essential water usage such as car washing, lawn watering and other outdoor irrigation, and to conserve water in other practical ways.
