The Town of Woodfin is undergoing efforts to develop recreational facilities along the French Broad River for the benefit of its citizens and the larger community.

The Town of Woodfin is governed by a Mayor-Town Commission form of government. The citizens elect three Town Commissioners to staggered four year terms every two years and elect a Mayor every two years in non-partisan elections. Photographs of the various Mayors and Town Commissioners who have served the Town of Woodfin since its inception are displayed in the Board’s chambers at Town Hall.
The Town Commission meets monthly at 6:30 PM on the third Tuesday of every month and or by special call of the Mayor.
The Woodfin Community Center remains a great asset for the citizens of the greater Woodfin community and for anyone interested in renting a space for a family event, company meeting, church social or similar event. Conveniently located near the future I-26 corridor, the Woodfin Community Center can comfortably seat over 200, features a full kitchen, stage and ample parking.

The Town of Woodfin is proud to announce a new partnership with Ring Cameras. This relationship will take place on the application known as the "Neighbors App" which can be downloaded for free in the iTunes or Google Play stores.
This voluntary program allows the Woodfin Police Department to request security videos directly from community member's Ring Camera System.
For questions concerning this new program, please forward any questions to you may have to Detective Caleb Harris at 828-253-4889 (ext.1015).

The Board of Aldermen of the Town of Woodfin recently approved a general obligation bond for the construction of greenways, sidewalks and parks.
The Board has placed this matter before the citizens of Woodfin for their consideration.
