Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee
The Town of Woodfin looking to reinitiate and grow a steering committee with representatives who reflect the many diverse voices of the town.  To plan for the future growth of Woodfin, the first step is to form a steering committee to help staff guide that work.  A comprehensive plan is as a broad, long-range planning tool for the community.  A comprehensive plan is not limited to studying land use components – it can include other areas of focus such as safety, public health, affordability, multi-generational needs, equity, and more.

The steering committee will consist of 8-12 individuals representing various interests and will assist the project team with citizen engagement and identification of current issues and future goals for the Town of Woodfin.  The committee will meet at least five times throughout the second phase of plan development to provide advice and feedback on the areas they represent as it pertains to the plan elements and the associated long-term goals and objectives.
